In the early 1920's Frank Lloyd Wright lived for a short while in Southern California. During this time he created a system of home construction using what he called "Textile Blocks". These blocks were cast concrete construction blocks with a patterned exterior surface. Some had perforations to allow light to pass through. Its said the designs were inspired by Mayan temple architecture.

Wright designed and built four homes during this time, all in Southern California, which remain classics of American architecture. One was the" Storer House".

The Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation authorized the reproduction of the pattern from this structure into tabletop, cast stone lantern. It is shipped with a candle and can be placed indoors or outside.

Height: 5 inches. Width: 5.75 X 5.75 inches.
