What Hoss Tools has done is added an additional wheel and axle to the single wheeled cultivator. This additional wheel adds stability and enables the hoe to straddle the rows for cultivating plants up to approximately 6 inches high.

Constructed with Amish crafted red oak handles, these can be adjusted to accommodate the handler’s height. The powder coated metal parts including a quarter inch tool bar and steel wheel have oil impregnated bronze bushings. The steel wheel assures that flat tires will not be a problem. A low center of gravity makes this wheel hoe easy to push and your wallet will appreciate the fact that no fuel is necessary for the easy operation of this remarkable, plastic-free garden tool.

This purchase includes wheel hoe with four cultivator teeth. You can also purchase two 8 inch blade sweeps (of powder coated cast iron steel and stamped metal) that can be used for weeding, shallow cultivation and working between rows. They are easily mounted and adjusted on the tool bar for different width rows, and are designed to cultivate close to the plant without damaging the roots.
